Common House Design

The Silver Sage common house is a beautiful 5,000 square foot space. It is filled with many amenities to create a comfortable extension of members' homes. The common house is a multi-functional space owned by the residents of the community. It comes equipped with an elevator for easy access to an upstairs condos and deck with amazing views of the Flatirons.

The gourmet kitchen is roomy enough to accommodate several avid chefs as they move around in preparation for optional community meals. These meals typically are held once or twice weekly, giving people a chance to socialize.

The kitchen is adjacent to the central garden and patio and is convenient for outdoor dining and BBQ’s. Upstairs is a deck with seating and tables where we can enjoy gorgeous view of the foothills and Flatirons. The dining room seats 30 people.

Like living rooms in one's home, the common house living room is a cozy space to relax or snuggle up with a good book.

Silver Sage has a private and fully accessible guest room with full bathroom. We envision community members' families staying here when visiting, as well as possibly for caregivers.

The crafts room is a flexible space to house a wide range of arts and crafts projects, as well as class instruction. It has good, natural light, ample storage, and counter space.

On the main floor is a room for meditation, yoga and similar activities. An exercise room with treadmill and other equipment is in the basement.
